Our Mission and Contact Information
Goals | Names and Phone Numbers

CASH-PCR, comprised of families and friends of the residents of the California State Developmental Centers, is dedicated to insuring that all persons with developmental disabilities receive the quality services and supports necessary for them to realize their full potential, as mandated by the Lanterman Act.

We advocate for these services and supports to be available in a full array of options, including developmental centers, community placements, and family homes.

We support the rights of parents, conservators, and persons with developmental disabilities to determine the most appropriate venue for these services.

Goals

To fulfill their Mission, CASH-PCR has determined that its goals are to:
identify and address situations requiring concerted action to improve the conditions of the developmentally disabled, including the use of legal means to enforce and protect rights
work in cooperation with all interested parties in supporting legislation that would improve the quality of life for the developmentally disabled
discuss and resolve common issues impacting the developmentally disabled with local, state, and national entities
work with local, state and national entities to resolve concerns affecting the developmentally disabled.
advocate for training, professional standards, career advancement and appropriate financial compensation for those people who choose to work in the public or private field of developmental disabilities
coordinate activities with similar private organizations toward common betterment goals, including the education of others about issues impacting the developmentally disabled, and the encouragement of research in areas that would enhance the lives of the developmentally disabled
